My three decades of experience in the heart of Gangnam, Korea’s financial hub, have equipped me with deep insights into market dynamics and a keen eye for intrinsic value.
After retirement, I acutely recognized the significant disparity between the immense potential of the Korean market and the existing barriers foreign investors face, particularly regarding accessibility and information asymmetry. It became clear to me that many hidden gems among Korea’s world-leading “Sobu-jang” (materials, components, and equipment) companies were not being adequately introduced to global investors. These companies, representing a powerful foundation and future growth engine of the Korean economy, often remain undervalued due to language and cultural barriers.
It is against this backdrop that I decided to launch ‘Korean Stocks.’ My aim is to create a reliable channel that allows foreign investors easier access to the Korean market and provides them with in-depth, trustworthy information. Korea Stocks goes beyond simply delivering investment data; it seeks to unearth the inherent value of the Korean market through the insights I’ve personally gained from the field and structured analysis.
